Impact of Covid-19 on Climate

Climate is sometimes mistaken for the weather. The climate of a neighborhood includes seasonal temperature and rainfall averages, and wind patterns. Different places have different climates. A desert, for instance, is mentioned as an arid climate because of little waterfalls, as rain or snow, during the year. Other sorts of climate include tropical climates, which are hot and humid, and temperate climates, which have warm summers and cooler winters.



Climate change is that the long-term modification of temperature and typical weather patterns during an area. Climate change could ask a specific location or the earth as an entire. These unexpected weather patterns can make it difficult to take care of and grow crops in regions that believe in farming because expected temperature and rainfall levels cannot be relied on. Causes of Climate Change



Humans are increasingly influencing the climate and therefore the earth's temperature by burning fossil fuels, lowering forests, and farming livestock. This adds enormous amounts of greenhouse gases to those present within the atmosphere, increasing the natural phenomenon and heating.



The main causes of climate change are:




  • Humanity’s increased use of fossil fuels – like coal, oil, and gas to urge electricity, run cars and other kinds of transport, and power manufacturing and industry

  • Deforestation – because living trees absorb and store CO2.

  • Increasingly intensive agriculture – This emits greenhouse gases like methane and laughing gas.



Today's industrialized countries have built their economies on burning fossil fuels to provide electricity, transport, and develop industries. Developing countries are now starting to do an equivalent.





Facts Regarding Climate Change




  1. Most of the rise in global temperatures since 1950 has been caused by the act.

  2. The typical temperature of the world is decided by the atmospheric phenomenon.

  3. Global temperatures have increased by about 1° Celsius within the past century.

  4. The average water level is predicted to rise between 0.5 and 1.5 meters before the top of the century.

  5. Rainforest destruction may be a major explanation for CO2 release.

  6. Coral reefs are being destroyed.







Effect of Lockdown:

In some ways, the dire lockdowns undertaken to stop Covid-19 have fast-forwarded us into an unlikely future—one with almost impossibly bold climate action taken all directly, no matter the worth.



Just months ago it might are thought impossible to shut polluting factories virtually overnight and slash emissions from the past by keeping billions reception. Now we all know that clear skies and silent streets can happen with shocking speed.

The solution to Climate Change




  • Renewable Energy: Changing our main energy sources to wash and renewable energy. Solar, Wind, Geothermal, and biomass could be the solution.

     

  • Air Pollution Prevention: Many methods exist to stop, control, and reduce pollution, especially by reducing the consumption of fossil fuels, and limiting industrial emissions and waste.

     

  • Waste Management & Recycling: The simplest way of reducing waste is to adapt our production techniques to our consumption criterion.
